Postal Increase Effective January 19, 2025

USPS 2025 Rate Changes: What You Need to Know

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced planned rate adjustments for 2025, effective January 19. These changes are part of USPS’s 10-year plan, “Delivering for America,” which focuses on achieving financial sustainability and improving customer service.

Key Rate Adjustments:

Priority Mail & Priority Mail Express: Approximately 3.2% increase.
USPS Ground Advantage: Approximately 3.9% increase.
Parcel Select: Approximately 9.2% increase.

Notably, Mailing Services, such as First-Class Mail, will not see any rate increase in January 2025. The price of a First-Class stamp will remain unchanged.
