Our Story
In 2010, West Texas Micrographics gained new partners, and changed its name to VariVerge, LLC. The corporate office of the company was moved to Amarillo, Texas where it is currently located.
In 2016, VariVerge expanded its operations to include the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex offering two seamlessly operating locations that allow for increased capacity and disaster recovery. As its business continues to grow in location and scope (including service to almost half of the counties in the State of Texas), VariVerge has expanded its client base to include utility companies, health care providers, financial institutions and large scale insurance companies located across the country.
Meet the Team
Luke Austin
CEO
Luke is the CEO of VariVerge. He received his BBA in Finance from Baylor University and his Masters in Accounting from the University of Virginia. Luke is married to his wife, Meredith, and has four children, Faith, Adelynn, Katherine, and Blake. Luke enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, dirt bike trail riding, snow skiing and backpacking.
James Austin
VP & General Counsel
James is the Vice President and General Counsel of VariVerge. He received his BBA in Finance and Masters in Business Administration from Baylor University as well as his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining VariVerge, James was a partner at Sprouse Shrader Smith, PLLC, where he focused on oil and gas law, commercial real estate, probate and other general business transactional work. James is married to his wife, Lauren, and together they have two children, Parker and Sydney. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, working outside, traveling and spending time with his family.
Gary Tibbets
Vice President | Data Processing
Gary handles the data processing for VariVerge. Once the data file is received through the FTP site, Gary processes and organizes the data to create a print file. Gary has 30 years of experience in data processing. Gary worked for 10 years at EDS managing bank processing centers before moving into the print & mail industry with VariVerge. Gary brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in the print & mail industry to VariVerge.
Jeff Taylor
General Manager | Dallas Location
Jeff Taylor is the General Manager of VariVerge. He received his BBS in Management from University of Phoenix and has a AAS in Electronics Engineering. Jeff is married to his wife Margarita and has five children. Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and hiking, he also loves working on and fixing just about anything. Jeff has been with us since 2008 and has over 25 yrs in the manufacturing business.
Casey Bates
Software Development Manager
Casey Bates is the Software Development Manager for VariVerge. His team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software used in many areas of the business. Casey holds a MS in Software Engineering and a BS in Computer Science from SMU. He has over 15 years of experience in Software Development and IT. Casey enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, working on programming projects, serving at church, and playing guitar.
Dawn Fox
Director of Customer and Vendor Relations
Dawn’s role is to be a liaison to nurture our customers and provide support to our sales and production team as well as our vendors.
In today’s fast-paced world, we understand that unforeseen issues can arise that could impact your experience as our valued customer. By adding Dawn to our team, we are taking proactive steps to provide you with an elevated level of support and assistance so that should any issues arise, they will be handled both promptly and effectively.
As our Director of Customer Relations, Dawn will act as a primary point of contact for any urgent or critical matters that may arise. She will be responsible for resolving issues, coordinating resources and ensuring a smooth communication flow between you, our valued customer, and our internal teams.

McKenzie Parker
Director of Sales and Marketing
McKenzie is the Sales & Marketing Representative for VariVerge. She primarily deals with maintaining and growing customer relationships, while working to bring in more business. McKenzie graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA in Public Relations and has been with VariVerge since 2011.
Trent Morgan
Data Processing/SME/ Dept. Lead
Trent has over 10 years experience in the field of Information Technology. He received a BS in Computer Information Systems from the University of Houston and enjoys cooking, reading, and movies, as well as hobby videography and graphic design.
Candace Martin
Data Processing
Candace has a BS in Mathematics from West Texas A&M University. She enjoys reading, hiking, camping, gardening, and going to the beach.
